Doctoral Students will be provided a stipend of Rs.12,000/- per month in the first year and second year and Rs.14,000/- from the third year onwards (likely to be revised). The stipend will be renewed every year upto a maximum of four years subject to satisfactory performance of the student. The students will not be charged tuition fee but will have to pay for books, course materials, lodging, boarding, and other expenses. As part of their stipend, the students will be required to work on campus for about 20 hours per week on administrative and research assignments. Such assignments will help them become better teachers and researchers.
